Rules
1. Every exhibitor in the Open classes must, if called upon, sign a declaration that the exhibits have been grown in his or her own garden or allotment, and no professional gardener is allowed to compete in the Amateur Classes. The committee reserve the right to inspect gardens.
2. Marquee to be open from 7.30am to 10am for exhibitors. Judging to commence at 10am prompt. All exhibitors are kindly asked to leave the marquee when they have staged their exhibits.
3. Exhibitors must supply their own plates, baskets or vases for the display of their entries. Entries must not be removed until 4.30pm on the day of the show.
4. No third prize unless there are four or more entries in any class, and no third prize money except in the Children's Classes.
5. The committee will not held themselves responsible for the loss or damage to exhibits or exhibitors' property, however arising.
6. Any unfair means used to obtain a prize will forfeit all claims to prizes.
7. Novice class - domestic crafts - for those exhibitors who have not shown before.
8. Entries on official entry forms only - two included in the schedule which can be obtained from Patches, Marshalls or Skeins, Long Street, Tetbury.
9. Entry fees for each entry = 20p. Children's classes = 15p each. Fees to accompany entry forms in an envelope.
10. Will all exhibitors write their name and address on an envelope with entry fees enclosed and deliver to Patches, Marshalls or Skeins, Long Street, Tetbury, Glos, by 12noon on Thursday 8th August 2002. No entries will be accepted on show day.
11. Prize money will be paid on Sunday 11th August 2002 from 3.00pm to 4.15pm, by the Treasurer. Any prize money not claimed by 4.15pm will be forfeited for show funds.
12. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the committee will be final.
13. Only one entry per person, per class.
14. Flower exhibits to be in container as per schedule.
15. All exhibits to be named where possible, but must not carry labels identifying competitors.
16. It is requested that articles exhibited are not repeated in ensuing years.
17. Please use one entry form per person. Not one per item.
